Brad Pitt’s Movie Props Seized

Production of Brad Pitt's latest movie, 'World War Z' has again been hampered, this time with seizure of a large number of weapons intended for use as props

Production of Brad Pitt’s latest movie, ‘World War Z’ has again been hampered, this time with seizure of a large number of weapons intended for use as props.

The firearms, including pistols, semi automatic rifles and sniper rifles, were believed to have been rendered safe for use with blank ammunition, however Hungarian counter-terrorism officers siezed the shipment shortly after it’s arrival in Budapest from London, as they could easily be adapted to fire live ammunition, as demonstrated here by a member of the counter-terrorism unit, by simply removing a screw from the muzzle of each weapon.

Understandably, Pitt is said to be furious over the incident.

Brad Pitt Back Filming ‘World War Z’

Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt is back to work filming World War Z after taking some time off with his family. After filming the zombie epic down in Cornwall, England, Pitt is now up in Glasgow where they are have been transforming the Scottish city into Philadelphia.

Can this really be cheaper/more cost effective than actually filming in the city of Brotherly Love?

Angelina Jolie and Kids Check Out Shrek

Angelina Jolie and her children, Zahara and Shiloh

While
Brad Pitt has been busy working on his new film in Scotland, it gave Angelina
Jolie and the couple’s children a reason to get out and about and enjoy London.

So
Angelina and four of her kids – Maddox, Pax, Shiloh and Zahara -  headed to see Shrek the Musical at the
Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London’s West end.

Angie
and Brad had previously taken the children to a puppet show held on a boat moored
in Richmond.

The Jolie-Pitt
clan are in town while Brad films World War Z and it looks like Shiloh is
enjoying it.

The
five-year-old showed some attitude by sticking her tongue out as she headed out
of the theatre…and we love it!

Here’s some new footage of Brad Pitt filming World War Z, and it looks like he’s on the run and assisting some children.

The filming of this zombie apocalypse movie is taking place in Falmouth, Cornwall in the United Kingdom.

There’s no signs of any the undead in these pictures yet, but it’s nice to see Pitt is helping with that girl’s jacket, because we know the cold can bite too.

Celebrities On Set Filming Upcoming Movies

movie set

Check out these great pictures of Brad Pitt on the set of his up and coming film, World War Z.

The film, directed by Marc Forster, follows a UN representative reporting and interviewing survivors of a decade long war against Zombies, known as World War Z.

Although it’s smack dab in the middle of summer, Pitt and extras are shooting in Falmouth, Cornwall, United Kingdom, and it’s supposed to be freezing.

But Pitt’s not the only A-Lister we’re spotting on set these days. Many of your favorite stars are hard at work, and we’ve got the shots to prove it. Check out some of your favorite celebrities filming upcoming movies.

Here’s Jake Gyllenhaal, locked, loaded and in his blues. He’s starring in End of Watch, a drama centered on the long-term friendship of two cops… in this case, fellow actor Michael Pena. The two are filming in Los Angeles, Calif. and recently went on real life ride-alongs with police officers to get the first hand experience.

Of course everyone’s seen the pictures of Batman: The Dark Knight Rises starring Christian Bale and Tom Hardy, directed by Christopher Nolan.

See the first glimpse of Batman and Bane squaring off on set. The highly anticipated follow up to The Dark Knight, is scheduled for release in the summer of 2012.

Check out Alec Baldwin, Ellen Page, and Penelope Cruz on the set of the Italian based romantic comedy, Bop Decameron, written and directed by Woody Allen.

Ride shotgun with Jessica Biel and Collin Farrell on the set of Total Recall in Toronto, Canada. They’re filming flying car scenes for the reboot of the classic Schwarzenegger sci-fi thriller.

And finally,

Look who tied the knot! We didn’t know Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis were even engaged! Oh nevermind, it’s just Seth MacFarlane’s upcoming comedy, Ted. The story centers on Wahlberg, a man with a teddy bear that comes to life as a result of a childhood wish.

Brad Pitt Shoots World War Z in UK

Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt is in the seaside town of Falmouth in
Cornwall, UK where he’s filming scenes for his zombie movie World War Z.

Feeling the pinch of a cold British summer
morning, Brad appeared wrapped up on board the yellow SD Salmoor where most of
the filming is taking place. The admiralty salvage vessel was covered in wax
and fake icicles plus a hoard of locals that were signed up as extras.

A source speaking to the local newspaper
Falmouth Packet said that Brad got the extras psyched up for war as well as distributed
sandwiches for everyone. His choice of flavour? Pork.

The crew set sail to a nearby location and
returned banging weapons and hollering for the camera.

So remember, in future zombie wars all it takes
is a pork sandwich to get you going.
