Maleficent: Keeping It In The Family

Angelina Jolie is reportedly making her new movie Maleficent a family affair. According to The Huffington Post, a new report has come out saying that the award winning actress has managed to get a role for her four-year-old daughter Vivienne.

Maleficent is a new twist on the classic Sleeping Beauty story as the film will be told from the perspective of the witch. Jolie will be playing the witch and has apparently persuaded producers to use her four-year-old in the film.

Vivienne is supposedly going to play the actress’s on screen daughter.

A source has also revealed to The Sun, “Ange thought it would be a fun experience for her and Viv to share, and Viv is a natural.

The acting bug is clearly catching in the Jolie family as the source also said “The other kids are now nagging Ange and Brad to land them roles.”

In Vegas they got Blue Man group, in England they got purple man group.

Converting the quaint English countryside around Buckinghamshire into a movie set it was action stations! Angelina Jolie took a leap of faith as her lycra loving crew eased the actress down following a daring wire assisted jump. Donning a horned helmet she had some final touches done by the make up guy then it was time to bounce.

She made it look so easy too.

Her new movie “Maleficent”, is a story based on Sleeping Beauty told from the perspective of the Princess’s evil nemesis called, yep Maleficent. The Disney character is a fairy meant to be the Mistress of All Evil, you know, the one who gets Sleeping Beauty to prick her finger on the spinning wheel and fall into eternal slumber.

Turns out it all started when Maleficent wasn’t invited to her Christening.

Here are the first shots of Angelina Jolie as ‘Maleficent. The latest adaption of Sleeping Beauty is filming in Buckinghamshire, England and the 37-year-old actress was in full mistress of evil costume, complete with some leather horns for the Disney film.

Angelina Jolie may line up for Tim Burton’s next movie, a tale modeled
on the storybook children’s classic Sleeping Beauty.
Access Hollywood reports The Tourist star is buzzed to be in
talks for the Disney film Maleficent, which tells the fairytale
in a live action format – and from the vantage of the villainous fairy
godmother.

The Los Angeles Times reports the Jolie Maleficent buzz but says no deal
has been inked, according to Access.

Jolie, however, was reported to have a free schedule after The
Tourist and interested in the villain part. She was earlier
reported being sought for a Kay Scarpetta role on a yet-to-be-titled
Patricia Cornwell movie adaptation.
