Guy Fieri Defends Restaurant After Awful Review

Guy Fieri went on TV to defend his restaurant following a scathing New York Times review.

He’s not tender to hear about his donkey sauce getting dissed.

But TV chef Guy Fieri couldn’t just sit back in silence after his new restaurant was, totally panned in the New York Times.

He went on the Today show to defend his Times Square eatery called Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar saying that the review was ridiculous and the reviewer had another agenda.

Entitled “As not seen on TV” by critic Pete Wells the review consists of 34 scathing questions aimed directly at Guy, such as “Were you struck by how very far from awesome the ‘Awesome Pretzel Chicken Tenders’ are?” and “when we hear the words ‘Donkey Sauce’, which part of the donkey are we supposed to think about?”

Seed sown, thanks for the thought.

Today show presenter Savannah Guthrie also pointed out to Guy that 56 reviews on Yelp only gave it 2 and a half stars out of 5.

Mr Fieri admitted that the restaurant was “not really expecting to” knock people’s socks off after having been open for just two months.

Angelina Jolie Says “Not Yet” On Wedding

Hold it people, Angelina Jolie says the wedding can wait.

Brad Pitt and Angelina are on vacation in Greece and it seems they are happy to tour a few islands before heading back to France, and before getting married.

A source told the New York Post that the Salt actress laughed and said “not yet” when quizzed by a restaurant owner on the island of Halkidiki about the big day, adding “we love Greece too much leave… we have other islands to go to before heading back to France”.

The Hollywood ‘it’ couple have enthralled the world by announcing that there will be wedding bells and the global media is already setting up camp outside their French Chateau Miraval while the grounds are supposedly being prepared for the big day.

But they’ll have to wait, the family has already been to Mykonos and are also hoping to visit Santorini on their super-yacht.

They aren’t the only ones on vacay in the Mediterranean right now; Robert De-Niro and John Travolta were spotted leaving Skiathos recently while Tom Hanks was seen chilling off the island of Antiparos

Kelsey Grammar’s First Words on Being New Dad

Speaking for the first time about fatherhood, Kelsey Grammar was spotted outside Mr Chow and as Don Johnson and Cloe Sevigny were heading in, Kelsey sped in and out with just one small thing on his mind to get home to.

The man of many words was in a rush alright but he managed to say a few, here’s how the conversation went…

Pap, “Congratulations Kelsey” KG, Thank You!. Pap, “She’s a beautiful baby” KG, “Yeah she is”. Pap, “How’s the wife doing? KG: “Great!”

James McAvoy’s Fishy Encounter

Something fishy going on here?

James McAvoy was spotted shooting his new movie The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby in Chelsea, New York carrying a bag with a pet fish in it. And in case you were wondering, his name is Ralph.

Cute little fella isn’t he?

Carrying Ralph and a heap of bags, the 33 year-old X-Men actor trudged up the stairs to his apartment looking like a worn out restaurateur. Which coincidentally is exactly the character that he plays, how about that?

Earlier on in Soho, he looked less burdened and more dapper when dressed in this flashy suit while leaving Acme restaurant. Fashion tips from Ned Benson? You ever see a director dress this well for work? Ned wrote the double movie story and the first installment is due for release next year.

We’re yet to see co-star Jessica Chastain filming, but then the story is split into his then hers, supposedly about a couple that experience a life changing event.

Jessica Plays Eleanor Rigby, seemingly named after the Beatles song that includes the lyrics “all the lonely people, where do they all come from?”

With Ralph around, things are probably gonna work out fine.
