The actor tells the Guardian that he doesn’t understand who invented the alias, but he wants to “strangle them.” As the 26-year-old starts to put a stake in the heart of his Twilight past and graduate to more adult roles like the upcoming Cosmopolis… It’s clear he wants to ditch his teenybopper nickname.
But, considering it’s been Tweeted more than 17,000 times… he might have a tough time shaking it. Scarlett Johansson famously told USA Today she hates her nickname ScarJo because she thinks it’s lazy… And she may have gotten through to her fans.
So, maybe now R-Pa… UGH!!… Robert… Will have some luck.
