Tom Cruise movie shuts down central London

London goes eerily quiet as Tom Cruise lands a chopper in Leicester Square for “All You Need Is Kill”

Nothing better than a cruise over London…

But you’ve never seen anything like this before.

Tom Cruise
flew into the England capital via chopper for a scene in his new movie
“All You Need is Kill”, which involved shutting down the streets.

Leicester Square seemed lonely for the Lion statues, with only a few military looking movie extras as company.

Then the eerie quietness was smashed once the chopper rolled in through some mild rain and winds.

As the sun eventually came out, Tom emerged for the scene, which seemingly involved conferring with colleagues about war stuff.

Cruise famously shot in a deserted Times Square in New York for Vanilla Sky so this ain’t his first rodeo. Although that time it wasn’t the Royal Air Force that dropped him off.

The
movie tells the story of a soldier fighting in a war with aliens caught
in a time loop of his last day in battle and looking at the outfit,
he’s possibly quite high up in command.

Hey and look at the Top Gun style aviators, Goose would be proud right? If that doesn’t make you wanna watch it, nothing will.

Twilight Tops Movie Chart

Twilight narrowly misses out on it’s sales record but still reaps reward at the top.

Twilight bowed on out a high by topping the charts and taking $141.3m in its first three days.

The 5th movie in the franchise narrowly made less than the second movie New Moon which made $142.8m million in the first three days.

But with only under a couple of million in it, who’s counting right?

It’s predicted that eventually the movie will score in the $700m area, matching the last three movies.

So, is it any good?

CNN say that The Twilight Saga is a different beast. Fans are either in — and they’ve been in for a few years — or they’re not interested.

For some, Robert Pattinson will always be Edward and Kristen Stewart will always be Bella.

For now at least, the saga is over. But with seven hundred million coming in per movie, we find it hard to believe this is the true end.

The crew was shooting in cool Chinatown in LA.  The actor  is back on the set after there were reports that the cast and crew were reassembled to replace a cinema shoot out in the wake of the Aurora killings.

Gosling was seen in full costume complete with panama hat and gun in holster. He looks like he stepped right out of the 50′s!

Gangster Squad is a chronicle of the LAPD’S struggles to keep the East Coast Mafia out of LA in the years after World War 2. It’s due for release in 2013.

Maleficent: Keeping It In The Family

Angelina Jolie and Vivenne Jolie-Pitt

Angelina Jolie is reportedly making her new movie Maleficent a family affair. According to The Huffington Post, a new report has come out saying that the award winning actress has managed to get a role for her four-year-old daughter Vivienne.

Maleficent is  a new twist on the classic Sleeping Beauty story as the film will be told from the perspective of the witch. Jolie will be playing the witch and has apparently persuaded producers to use her four-year-old in the film.

Vivienne is supposedly going to play the actress’s on screen daughter.

A source has also revealed to The Sun, “Ange thought it would be a fun experience for her and Viv to share, and Viv is a natural.

The acting bug is clearly catching in the Jolie family as the source also said “The other kids are now nagging Ange and Brad to land them roles.”

Gary Oldman According To Tom Hardy “He’s Basically God, You Know?”

Gary Oldman

Tom Hardy of  Batman fame admits that he’s was utterly star stuck when he worked with Gary Oldman. He also said  that he loved working on his latest movie Lawless.

When Hardy first worked with Oldman on Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy he said ” I had to watch him because we had to re-shoot … because my beard fell off while I was talking. Which is good because I spent my entire experience with Gary staring at him, and not returning any lines, because I think he’s basically God, you know?”

”The second time, on The Dark Knight Rises as Bane, I was kind of playing God, so I kind of ignored him, kicked him a bit, that kind of thing. But Gary Oldman is one of my heroes, completely. I did nothing but gleam from him.”

Hardy also could not praise his latest project highly enough saying that working on lawless was “like bread and butter…” He added ” The process was such a pleasure.”

Jennifer Aniston Unbuttons Shirt on Movie Set

JenBra

Jennifer Aniston looks like she missed a button… Or all of them.

The actress is on set of her new film, We’re the Millers, in North Carolina, where she reportedly plays a prostitute.

Jennifer’s character may be struggling, but it’s clear that she still looks great.

Kristen Stewart Drops Out of Cali Movie

Rupert Sanders pictured with Kristen Stewart on May 29th 2012

Kristen Stewart has dropped her role in upcoming movie Cali just hours after canceling her appearance at the On The Road premiere in London.

It doesn’t rain, it pours.

Gossipcop.com repots that the Twilight actress has pulled out of her role Cali opposite Alex Pettyfer with rumors that Amber Heard has been asked to join the cast although it’s not confirmed if she’s going to fill Kristen’s shoes.

The news adds itself to an ever-expanding list of blows.

First she has an affair with Rupert Sanders whom she worked with on Snow White and The Huntsman, apologizes, to boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson who stays publicly silent and moves out of their shared house. He reportedly then bans her from the Premiere and after party for his movie Cosmopolis then she axes her appearance on the red carpet for On The Road as she can’t bear to show her face.

Feeling sorry for her yet?

Even though she’s pulled out of Cali onscreen, she’s linked as a producer so we’ll see how that pans out.

In the meantime, how long is it until the next Twilight premier?

Ryan Gosling in 50 Shades of Grey?

Ryan Gosling

Screen hunk Ryan Gosling is the firm fan favorite to play Christian Grey in the upcoming movie adaptation of the book Fifty Shades of Grey.

Set to be a trilogy, the story by English author E.L James has sold 20 million copies worldwide. So if you haven’t already heard about the plot because you might live on Mars or something, here it is in short (no spoilers)… A woman interviews a 27-year-old billionaire, yes 27, and a billionaire, who then ends up kinda dating him only it turns out that he’s into really kinky stuff in the bedroom.

Seriously that’s actually sort of, all we can reveal. It’s probably going to be dangerous and there’s a lot of conflict.
Other contenders for the part are Robert Pattinson, Christian Bale, Michael Fassbender and David Hasselhoff.

Ok not The Hoff, but he sure can dance like a hip twenty something. So then, sound like a chick flick? Nah, what possibly could have made you think that?

And just think, Ryan Gosling nude? Amen.

James McAvoy’s Fishy Encounter

James McAvoy

Something fishy going on here?

James McAvoy was spotted shooting his new movie The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby in Chelsea, New York carrying a bag with a pet fish in it. And in case you were wondering, his name is Ralph.

Cute little fella isn’t he?

Carrying Ralph and a heap of bags, the 33 year-old X-Men actor trudged up the stairs to his apartment looking like a worn out restaurateur. Which coincidentally is exactly the character that he plays, how about that?

Earlier on in Soho, he looked less burdened and more dapper when dressed in this flashy suit while leaving Acme restaurant. Fashion tips from Ned Benson? You ever see a director dress this well for work? Ned wrote the double movie story and the first installment is due for release next year.

We’re yet to see co-star Jessica Chastain filming, but then the story is split into his then hers, supposedly about a couple that experience a life changing event.

Jessica Plays Eleanor Rigby, seemingly named after the Beatles song that includes the lyrics “all the lonely people, where do they all come from?”

With Ralph around, things are probably gonna work out fine.

Meet the Real Magic Mike…and See Him with His Clothes On

Michael Sorrentino aka The Real Magic Mike

For all you ladies out there who flocked to the theaters to see Channing Tatum dance around in his birthday suit in Magic Mike, need to know that there’s a guy out there…in a Florida jail to be more specific…saying that he and C-Tate were stripping partners back in the 90′s and the movie is based on his life.

His name is Michael Sorrentino, same as the Jersey Shore one, but he goes by Magic Mike. Or at least he did, back when he took his clothes off for a living.

In an exclusive interview, he told us how he took a young Channing under his wing and showed him the way and taught him epic dance moves and choreography. And now he feels slighted that Tatum took his story, used his name, and made a movie about it without so much as a phone call or letter.

No word from Channing so far, but we bet he’s pretty busy counting all those singles he made from the flick.
