Madonna definitely punked up for the Met Ball in New York City.
The singer went all out for the punk theme as she posed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Donning a striking black wig, the 54-year-old rocked her look in chains, spikes and studs.
Opting for a crucifix instead of trousers, the Material Girl hit maker seemed to be letting it all hang out on the red carpet.
It seems Madonna didn’t impress her Miami fans when she was three and a half hours late to her concert.
According to the Huffington Post, the Material Girl singer left fans waiting for hours and they took to Twitter to complain.
Apparently boos broke out in the audience and when Madge hit the stage it was reportedly without explanation.
It looked like a very lively performance with the singer shimmying into a very tiny leather look corset and little else.
And for fans who couldn’t make the event, Madonna’s MDNA show was being filmed for future DVD release. _
Madonna has become the latest celebrity to jump on the Gangnam bandwagon as she dueted with Psy.
The Vogue singer, who was performing at Madison Square Garden in New York, surprised fans as she was joined onstage by the Korean pop star.
Madonna gave her best ‘Gangnam Style’ dance routine before Psy joined in her songs ‘Give It 2 Me’ and ‘Music’.
The singer is currently on the New York leg of her ‘MDNA’ world tour.
Madonna’s been parading around in skimpy outfits, singing torchy anthems that have lit cities on fire for years. More like decades. Since the early 80′s. Before most people reading this were even born.
And it seems she doesn’t like the fact that Lady Gaga came along and stole her swag. The gloves came off a while back and gave us, the audience, another musical feud to feast on.
Madge was onstage in Atlantic City do her thing when she stopped and told the crowd that she wanted to dedicate her next song to Lady Gaga. She went on to sarcastically say that she loved Lady Gaga and that imitation was the greatest form of flattery.
Oooh. Diss.
We don’t know if this shot across the bow will start some epic battle of Little Monsters and Madonna minions snapping their fingers a la West Side Story. But if it does, we’ll be there.

Lady Gaga is on the mend! Speaking to fans outside her hotel in Brisbane in asked “How’s your head by the way?” to which she replied “Thank you for asking, It’s much better”.
The singer took a bang to the head during her concert when a backing dancer tried to move a metal bar and it dropped down hard on her head.
She staggered off stage in Brisbane for a short time, but returned announcing that even though she may have concussion she’ll finish the gig.
This isn’t the first time this has happened in the last few days.
Justin Bieber set the precedent recently, suffering a concussion after walking into a glass door while leaving the stage in Paris. He managed to pass out cold afterwards but is ok.
And if its true everything happens in three’s then perhaps Gaga wouldn’t mind if Madonna has a mishap after she played a mash-up of her song Express Yourself into Gaga’s similar sounding Born this Way, supposedly to taunt her rival.
Concussion or not, Gaga had her own dig back at her by ending her Born This Way performance singing, “she’s not me” at the end.
The Splash News picture of Madonna’s 15 year-old daughter Lourdes casually smoking in New York, caused a firestorm of publicity and has prompted the mum of four to speak up on parenting saying “Every day is a negotiation, but cigarette smoking, I’m not very fond of.”
Which is bizarre when in the role model to millions latest video “Girls Gone Bad”, she’s seen seductively holding a cigarette.
Good luck with those negotiations.
Speaking on the Today show she admitted, “I’m probably not as tough as I should be. I think I need to be maybe tougher”

Madonna looked at the problems of parenting philosophically stating “we all have our challenges” and “so far I’ve survived with sanity and humor intact”. And with her kids, she ask the typical mom questions like “Have you done your homework?” and “Why are you wearing that?”

The eldest daughter of the Material Girl was seen puffing away as she hung around with friends in New York.
Lourdes had the cigarette in her hand as a pal lighted it for her and seemed very comfortable with it.
The star wore a black and white mini dress with matching shoes while she puffed away.
Seen as the legal age for smoking in America is 18, what would your mother say!
