The 26-year-old also came under fire for wearing a bra with plastic assault-rifles for cups as the outfit came only a month after the Sandy Hook shootings.

So whilst she may be known for her many costume changes, we bet this wasn’t one of her favourite fashion nights!

Since arriving in Brazil, the Telephone singer has been spotted on her hotel balcony with a ‘I love you Brazil’ banner. 
And after her first show in the city, Lady Gaga tweeted “I’ll never forget that show Brazil. You ARE the City of God.”

Nicknamed ‚”The Germ”, she was one of the more popular girls attending the exclusive Convent of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic school in New York City.

Described as a diligent student, Stefi picked singing over boys, participated in the choir and played her piano every chance she got.

By her senior year, she was already performing at open mic nights but still made time to attend her High School Ball and goof around with pals.

At eighteen years old, her dream was to headline at Madison Square Garden and in 2011 Lady Gaga did just that.

She’s even got her own fragrance out appropriately named…Fame.

The huge donation, which has been made to the American Red Cross, was given on behalf of her and her family. 
The singer, whose old neighbourhood was flooded by the superstorm, wrote on her website: “If it wasn’t for NYC… I would not be the woman or artist I am today”. 
The Born This Way singer credited the city for building her spirit and then pledged to “help you rebuild yours”. 
 
The singer is currently away from New York as she is in Brazil performing the South American leg of her Born This Way tour.
