Joe Manganiello may play a werewolf on the hit HBO series “True Blood,” but love wasn’t howling at the moon between him and his fiance Audra Marie.
But a silver bullet never broke his heart, because it’s reported that Manganiello was the one that called off the engagement.
According to Us Magazine, the actor refused to set a wedding date after proposing in Oct. 2010, but Audra kept making wedding arrangements despite his reservations.
And apparently, that got her thrown to the wolves.

The happy couple met at the Super Bowl in 2009, however it took more than a full moon for them to finally get together.
Manganiello says that his fiance wouldn’t go out with him for six months, however the persistence proved to work out, as both his career and personal life seem to be taking off.
Perhaps Marie is the good luck charm he needed, as Manganiello was cast in HBO’s hit show shortly after the engaged couple started dating.
The duo has yet to set a wedding date.
