The couple created buzz towards the end of 2010, reportedly making public appearances together in Nashville and Los Angeles. Gyllenhaal, 30, also reportedly invested in the relationship, purchasing a unique guitar for Swift, 21, costing about $10,000. Rumors also stated that he flew her on a private jet to meet him in London while promoting Love and Other Drugs.
We suppose if it’s really over, we can expect Taylor to release a song about Jake on her next album.

Even though the budding romance between Jake Gyllenhaal, 29, and country superstar Taylor Swift, 21, is just starting to heat up, it seems as though the actorl spares no expense when strumming for her affection.
As Swift celebrated her 21st birthday on Dec. 13, it’s reported that Gyllenhaal snuck into a Nashville guitar shop and spent about $10,000 on a rare guitar that the country superstar had her eyes on, signed by the late Chet Atkins.
After the birthday gift, along with the actor reportedly flying Swift to London on private jet to meet him while promoting Love and Other Drugs, we wonder what Gyllenhaal has in store for Christmas?
