When you see Katie Holmes, you may not always think “Hey, that girl belongs smack dab in the middle of New York’s Fashion Week…” But… That’s reportedly right where she’s headed.
The actress’ new clothing collection, Holmes & Yang, will apparently be showcased at the most coveted spot in Fashion Week… Otherwise known as “The Tents.”
Katie reportedly told Elle magazine she wanted to create clothes a woman could wear over and over, without others noticing the repetition.
According to People magazine, this is a big deal for Katie, it demonstrates she’s serious about her fashion line, and her spot will put her among all the top fashion designers, editors and critics.
We’re sure Katie’s just happy to be in a different type of spotlight than her recent high profile divorce.
