He may be known as “Goldenballs” but David Beckham has been immortalized as a silver statue as part of a new campaign for H&M. Can we get one for the office please?
10-foot-tall statues of the 37-year-old footballer have been erected across America in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The statues were unveiled as part of a stunt by fashion retailer H&M to promote David’s Bodywear range.
What a great way to start this morning!
David Beckham is in his underwear, in public… And he’s not going anywhere.
Here’s his statue outside of the H&M store on Fifth Ave in New York City, promoting his underwear line.
The signature shirtless David stands proud, as fans can come take their picture with the legendary footballer. He won’t even get squeamish.
We’d think with a nickname like “Goldenballs,” you’d think he’d be… Gold, though…
And frankly, lack of points for not etching in his infamous tattoos… But other than that, it looks like this ad campaign scores!
He is one statuesque footballer! No literally!
David Beckham arrived to hordes of screaming fans in London, as he launched his bodywear collection at H&M.
And shining so bright as they stood tall were silver statues of Becks.
Taking to twitter Victoria Beckham announced that she was very excited about David’s bodywear launch, and we can see why!
The father of four looked refined, yet casual as he made his way into the store wearing a cream colored cardigan and jeans.
While at the store the 36-year-old revealed that he can’t wait to show people the collection, however he isn’t sure if his mum will be happy to see him in his underwear on billboards again.
Your mom might not be happy, but millions of ladies are David!
