No more teenage angst for Miley Cyrus as she starts her twenties

Miley Cyrus has turned 20 years-old. Yep, no more teenage angst for the singer and actress as she reaches the two decade mark.

Ah, a far cry from the Hannah Montana days.

So let’s take a look at the life of Miley.

Disney kids are pretty cute which of course Miley was. As usual they can’t wait to grow up and be less cutesy. She spent several years living her onscreen double life, being the world’s highest paid child actor earning $15,000 an episode.

Then all of a sudden she grows up, does world tours, charity stuff in Haiti and meets the man of her dreams, Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.

The pair met in 2009 while shooting a movie together and sparks flew off screen as well as on. So much so, that they got engaged.

More recently Miley hired porn star Jessie Andrews to appear in one of her music videos while she opted for a punk style short blond buzz cut. Kinda fair to say she’s escaped the Hannah Montana tag, and it looks like the girl who was born Destiny Hope Cyrus has lived up to her name.

File this under ‘Just Another Miley Cyrus Transformation’ because the former Hannah Montana star just changed her look again. This time by going to the hairdresser and getting an edgy undercut…which is a pretty nice way of saying she shaved her head.

It’s a nice look.

And by the time you get used to it, she’ll probably change the look again.





Miley Cyrus’ Parents Billy Ray And Tish To Divorce

We didn’t see this one coming.

Miley Cyrus’ parents Billy Ray and Tish are divorcing after 17 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

In a statement they said: “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”

They have five children together.

Divorce papers were filed in Tennessee.

17-year-old Miley Cyrus released a new video for her song “Who Owns My Heart?” involving scantily clad clothing, steamy club-scene dance floors and bedroom debauchery.

It’s a dark, adult themed montage that is certainly making one thing clear – the Hannah Montana image is dead and gone. Here comes Cyrus the party girl.

From beginning on top of satin sheets, then traveling to what appears to be a dark, all-hours rave, Cyrus knows she is pressing the envelope and that seems to be her intention. With a dark tone, and club-thumping beats, the pop star is creating anthems designed for establishments that she’s not even legally
allowed to enter yet.

However, in order for Cyrus to redefine herself, perhaps it takes big steps to jump out of the Disney shadow. Britney did it.

She’s on the right path. We’re not even sure Hannah Montana would be allowed to watch this video.
