Now that Crystal Harris and Hugh Hefner are engaged…again…we’re reminded of some other stars that we thought didn’t stand a chance with each other in the relationship department.
But, just because they say it’s over…doesn’t mean it really is. Take a look at other Hollywood couples that couldn’t stay away from each other.
2012 saw the end of quite a few Hollywood couples. So, what better time than now to count them down?
Here are the year’s top five biggest splits…according to us anyway.
Demi Moore is supposedly trying every trick in the book to stall her divorce from Ashton Kutcher as she’s furious her hubby of 6 years moved on so fast.
Kustcher has been dating old friend Mila Kunis for five months and is currently enjoying a romantic break in Rome.
Despite separating a year ago Demi and Ashton are yet to file for divorce with a source telling RadarOnline “Demi has instructed her attorneys to delay negotiations as much as possible”
They added, “The main issue they have been fighting over has been the division of assets and the monetary settlement, but it’s now gotten to the point where Ashton is willing to cave in to all of Demi’s demands just to reach a settlement. However Demi is totally playing hardball and every time they come close to reaching an agreement she throws up another objection or demand.”
Turns out Ashton and Mila are very serious about each other.
You don’t say.
But the obstruction tactics are supposedly causing a further rift between Demi and her daughters who the source says have remained close to Ashton saying, “Rumer especially is really annoyed at her mother for dragging things out and thinks she is behaving like a total b*tch”.
Hopefully everyone can move on before this gets ugly.
When Kris Jenner heard the gossip that hubby Bruce Jenner was preparing for divorce, she called the 63 year old and said, “Honey, I think we’re getting a divorce” to which he replied, “Honey, don’t bug me with this. I’m at the hobby store buying helicopter parts”.
Joking to E Online, Kris explained that the story was rubbish and as you just read, they laughed it off.
The divorce rumor speculated that the former sporting hero reached breaking point over Kris’ flirting with younger men and raging egomania over the Kardashian clan’s wildly successful business empire.
But here, straight from the horse’s mouth are the facts, with Kris saying, “We’re absolutely not filing for divorce. Everything is great. We feel very blessed as a family” Adding “If we had to chase down and comment on every rumor we’d be working overtime.”
And as far as a family goes, they’d certainly have their work cut out.
No truce for Bruce?
In a move that would split the Kardashian house and put their 155 million dollar fortune into play, the National Enquirer report that Bruce Jenner is secretly consulting lawyers about divorcing Kris Jenner, his wife of 21 years.
Supposedly the 1976 Olympic Decathlon Gold medalist has reached breaking point over Kris’ flirting with younger men and raging egomania over the Kardashian clan’s wildly successful business empire,
A source said that Bruce aged 63, feels like Kris treats him like a doormat and he’s had enough. They added, “She constantly belittles his appearance and complains to mutual friends that he’s a boring old fart”
Perhaps Kim, Kourtney and Khloe’s stepdad got wind of it, as lawyer pals have valued up the assets of the Kardashian-Jenner Empire.
He’s also talked to a divorce attorney buddy about potential custody arrangements for his two girls Kendall and Kylie with Kris.
Ashton Kutcher may be the highest paid actor in Hollywood…but that doesn’t mean his money troubles are gone.
In fact, the Two and a Half Men star is engaged in a bitter divorce battle with Demi Moore. The 34-year-old actor is said to be worth an estimated 138 million dollars…while Demi is reported to be worth even more.
And according to a source quoted by the New York Post, Ashton is refusing to budge on how they should divide up their assets.
The source goes on to claim that Ashton is so cheap and is refusing to sign off on the paperwork so they can go their separate ways.
If that’s true, we can probably expect this private grudge to boil over into a very public court battle.
And if our experience tells us anything, it could get pretty ugly.
Here’s the story: Katie Holmes is single, but if you’re an actor, she’s not going to date you. At least, that’s the rumor. According to Radaronline, the 67-year-old actor can be quite the flirt, and according to their source, Danny’s not afraid to abuse his powerful status and chat up young and aspiring women looking to make it in the industry.
And after years of turning a blind eye, Rhea’s had enough.
Yeah, so if you believe the rumors than there’s a lot about the funny man we didn’t know.
The source claimed that a break-up had been in the cards for over ten years now and that the couple hasn’t been happy for a long, long time.
Nicole Kidman has broken her silence on her divorce with Tom Cruise and denies she’s talked to Katie Holmes saying, “I wish them all well but I was not involved in any of that.”
Kidman and Cruise split in 2001 but she has rarely spoken at great length about the end of the marriage that gave them their two kids.
She told Who magazine, “I got married really fast and really young. But I don’t regret that because it got me Bella and Connor and I did have a fantastic marriage for a long period.”
The actress married Tom when she was just 24 years old, and even though Katie was only 27, this twenty-something kinship wasn’t enough to start them comparing notes.
“I never spoke to her” says Nicole before adding that she had to dig deep to get out of her depression, but has no regrets; it’s all part of growing up.
