BeeGees Robin Gibb Laid to Rest

Robin Gibb

The funeral for legendary BeeGee Robin Gibb took place in Oxfordshire, England and the main message from fans and family were that he was a warm and kindhearted man that will be sorely missed.

Barry Gibb, the sole surviving member of the BeeGees trio paid an emotional tribute to his brother, saying that he’s now been reunited with Maurice, his twin.

He said, “They were both beautiful. And now they’re together. They’re actually together”

A stunning horse drawn carriage procession left Robin’s home and head for St Mary’s Church where Barry along with friends and family, finally put his brother to rest.

The BeeGees’ falsetto-toned music spanned several decades, sold over two hundred million records and includes massive hits such as Night Fever, Stayin’ Alive and More Than A Woman.

Robin’s death was untimely, aged just 62 due to kidney failure following a battle with cancer and pneumonia.

“Life is too short” said Barry “In Robin’s case, absolutely too short. We should have had 20 years, 30 years of his magnificent mind and his beautiful heart.”

Geri Halliwell sweats it out in church

Geri Halliwell was spotted in a sweater and jeans having left a group meeting at St Johns Church in Hempstead, London.

She’s looking sprightly in her Jack Wills top with “Outfitters to the Gentry” emblazed on the front.

Wonder what the meeting was though… no sign of an apron so no cakes made, Girl Guides, hmm what other group meetings take place in churches? Surely not choir practice…
