Chris Evans looks like a true Hollywood hero on the red carpet at the “Avenger’s” premiere…
But while his big-screen blockbuster dreams continue to come true… The actor says he has a different one…
He tells Details magazine that he’s always dreamed of living alone in the woods … Because it’s where he feels most like himself…
So would Captain America really “Henry David Thoreau” his career away?
Evans says he always thought the woods were “calling him.” The 30-year-old grew up reading survival books, camping, and feeling that if he wasn’t living by himself in the woods by age 25 he’d be a failure…
The actor admits the Hollywood spotlight makes him extremely uncomfortable and he doesn’t like the “la-di-da” LA lifestyle, but we’re pretty sure he’s made some friends to share a camping trip with.
Our photographers spotted a bearded Chris Evans in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he’s promoting his upcoming movie, The Avengers. If it looks like it’s proud to be Captain America again… He is.
But the star tells Pristige magazine that this hasn’t always been the case.
Evans says he’s made about 20 movies but he’s only proud of three of them…
Infact, he admits a few of the films he’s made are stinkers, and before he shielded up as Captain America, he knew he couldn’t afford to make another bad career choice.
But thanks to Captain America’s success, he says everything about it has been a positive… and he thanks his team, family and friends for pushing him…
Looks like The Avengers aren’t the only heroes Evans knows.
Stan Lee has been a Marvel when creating the world’s most famous comic books, but how does the 88-year-old native New Yorker feel that his famous American heroes like like Superman, Spiderman, and Thor are being played by foreign actors?
Our photographers caught up with him at LAX in Los Angeles to ask, and the comic book creator thinks “they’re great.”
So with the UK raised Andrew Garfield playing the Amazing Spider Man, British born actor Henry Cavill playing Superman, and Tom Hiddleston in Thor, these Europeans have received a blessing from the comic king himself to be considered true Hero-peans.
And with Chris Hemsworth as Thor, the caped casting has traveled all the way Down Under.
But Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson ensure that there are still some Americans on The Avengers.
We’ve seen Chris Evans as Captain America the last couple of days and now he’s been joined by Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth.
The superhero duo were battling alien soldiers in the streets of Cleveland which has been dressed up to look like New York City.
Chris Evans was spotted taking a break from filming The Avengers in Cleveland, Ohio and before heading back to his trailer for a much deserved rest, the hunky actor swung by the craft services tent for some grub.
So what did Chris get? The Captain America star grabbed a few handfuls of fFrench fries, corn on the cob and a hot dog!
So kids, if you want to get buff like this guy, keep eating those hot dogs!
Filming in Cleveland, Ohio continues with actor Chris Evans making a rallying call from
the roof of a vehicle and jumping about as dust from the explosion drifted his
Looks pretty good huh!?
