Present were celebrities Jennifer Aniston, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Orlando Bloom, Jason Bateman, David Arquette and wife Courtney Cox, Eve and Kate Beckinsale with husband Len Wiseman. Kate Beckinsale is another lucky long weekend enjoyer-- we saw her and her family wandering around Malibu. Kate might be a mom, but that certainly doesn't stop her from looking utterly fabulous and calm all the time. Despite having a kid by her side all the time, she looked positively gorgeous in a shiny blue top and tight jeans. How can she not look frazzled? I'm impressed.

Kate Beckinsale has revealed that she can't cope with the fact that she's famous (boo-hoo?) and is truly down-to-earth. Now unlike some celebs' claims to be "normal," Kate's explanation really sounds like she may indeed be herself when she's out of the spotlight!

"I'm in complete denial about being a celebrity. I spend 80 per cent of my time in my kitchen and occasionally I'm wheeled out to pretend to be Kate Beckinsale for awards shows. I'm not at nightclubs every night but I'll take my kid hiking and several paparazzi will show up and it's like, 'What? I'm not shaving my head in public. You need to leave me alone.'"

It looks like Kate had something to say about the paparazzi as well! There are no hard feelings, though, because Kate continued to say that "I deal with it and haven't become an a*shole because it occupies quite a small part of my life. I'm very good at not seeing people pointing and taking pictures; people I'm with are much more disturbed about it. I'm trying to work on becoming less polite." Less polite? The couple who are thought to be shopping for Kate's daughter Lily who will be celebrating her 9th birthday this Thursday picked up a few goodies in Jenny Bec's childrens toy and furniture store along Montana Avenue.
