Julia Roberts and Clive Owen were spotted in NYC yesterday starting their first rehearsals for their new movie Duplicity. Filming began on schedule this month, and the film will see the duo portraying "a pair of corporate spies who share a steamy past and hook up to pull off the ultimate con job." Julia, who is currently residing in her New York apartment, paused and politely posed for the paps, while Clive, looking moody in his black leather jacket, whisked by the cameras with no interest.

In a cosy pair of ugg boots, Ray Ban Aviators and a green parka jacket the star was minus her hubby and 3 children. She exchanged some words with the photographers before they moved on. Pointless fact of the day: Julia apparently lies on her back to have her make-up applied before going onto a film set. She insists it gives her a relaxed look.
