Disney cutie Selena Gomez showed up at Smashbox Studios in Culver City for the
Whitley Kros fashion show at L.A. Fashion Week to start the week off right.
Dressed down in comparison to her
red carpet wear, she wasn't quite as forthcoming as she was on Saturday night. The highlight of the event to benefit St. Jude was when Selena shouted out
"Let Shia know I'm available!" Wow.So is Selena

John Mayer was looking on the not-so-happy side when we saw him in New York City. Carrying a large green bag, he stepped out of his Manhattan apartment in fatigues and a black tee. I wonder if he happened to get a glimpse of a recent article from the
Boston Globe called "
Blame It on John Mayer"?
Mayer spent time with Marines at Air Station New River and Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C. last week, after which he said that "Believe me when I say that the day was life-changing."

Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, recently talked about his initial aversion to his stage name: he laughed at it like it was a joke! A producer had said that he was like The Matrix character Neo, and things snowballed until the "corny" name started to catch on. Ne-Yo explained:
"The name was a joke at the beginning. A producer friend of mine said to me one day 'you're like the Neo of the music industry. In The Matrix movie Neo can do things that other people couldn't do so
he was basically saying that within the music industry I can do things
other people can't do. [...] I didn't want that to be my name but one person calls you something
and then another person and eventually it becomes your name."

Juliette Lewis showed off her '80s rock star ensemble she had put together for Madonna's concert in Madison Square Garden-- as a fellow musician, Juliette's all about creative expression! Purple birdie shirts and bandannas are certainly preferable to many of Juliette's more creative ensembles we've spied over the years.
Madonna's "Sticky and Sweet" tour might have attracted celebs like Juliette, Samantha Ronson, and Lindsay Lohan, but there's no way we'll be seeing Gov. Sarah Palin around. The pop queen recently banned Palin from ever attending her shows, saying "Sarah Palin can't come to my party. Sarah Palin can't come to my show. It's nothing personal."
