Howard K. Stern has filed a federal slander lawsuit against John O'Quinn, the attorney for Virgie Arthur, claiming that O'Quinn slandered him by suggesting that he was responsible for Anna Nicole Smith's death. Documents were filed yesterday (Friday) in a US District court house in West Palm Beach. "The public airwaves should never be used to promote personal agendas or vendettas," Stern's attorney, L. Lin Wood, said in a statement Friday. I guess he wasn't joking when he said he was going to go after anyone that had implied he was responsible for her death.

Although Larry Birkhead has been named the father of Dannielynn from the 99.9% DNA result there are still several questions. When will Larry officially receive custody of Dannielynn? That depends; Stern says he will not stand in the way of Larry but sounds as if he will do whatever it takes to keep Virgie Arthur from gaining any sort of partial custody or guardianship, delaying Larry gaining custody of the young girl. Stern very graciously is allowing Larry to spend as much time with Dannielynn as he wants and just asks that transfer of custody is gradual, to prevent any undue harm or confusion for her. When can Larry return to the states with Dannielynn? Not until the matter of custody is solved. What about the name on Dannielynn's birth certificate? Her full name is Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, can Larry or will Larry petition to have Stern's name removed from the birth certificate? My guess, probably. What about the J. Howard Marshall fortune? Anna Nicole was never awarded any money from her marriage to billionaire J. Howard Marshall, all she was granted in the Supreme Court ruling was the right to fight for her share. Now with both Anna Nicole Smith and Marshall's son E. Pierce Marshall dead it's hard to say how the fight for the estate will continue. Will Larry continue to fight for the fortune? Who knows, but lets hope he gets a cheaper lawyer this time. Will this ruling finally allow Anna Nicole to rest in piece? Not as long as there are still ratings to be had, money to be made, books to be written, TV shows and mini-series to be produced. Is Stern really going to sue the media outlets that slandered, libeled, accused him of murder? I'm not going to test it

Tomorrow is the big day in the Bahamas with the court set to reveal the results of the DNA test and end the paternity dispute between Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern of Anna Nicole Smith;s daughter Dannielynn. Birkhead has been confidant the whole time that he is the biological father and Stern has now stated they he will not stand in the way of Birkhead's custody claim if he is named the father.

Looks like we will have to wait till next Tuesday to find out who the father of Dannielynn is as the Bahamian court has adjourned for the day without releasing the results of the DNA test. I'm really hoping for a Maury Povich moment where Larry Birkhead leaps out of his chair, fists pumping and high-fiving all those in attendance while Howard K. Stern slumps into his chair, sobbing over the realization that the game is over and the only living connection between him and Anna Nicole Smith, the woman her has loved/obsessed over for the past 15 years, is ripped from his arms. I really hope this is televised.

G. Ben Thompson, the South Carolina business man that owns the Bahamian house that Anna Nicole Smith and Howard K. Stern have been living in, so firmly believes that Stern is not the father of Anna's baby daughter Dannielynn, that he is evicting Stern from the house. Thompson states that he bought the house in Anna Nicole's name, in good faith that she would eventually buy it from him. Now that she has moved on and he believes that Stern is not the father he is taking back the house. Howard K. Stern may have submitted Dannielynn for a mouth swab DNA test to satisfy the court ordered paternity test but don't expect to find out the results on Monday. Stern has an appeal set to go and will be submitting it on Monday to prevent the results of the DNA test from being read in court. On Tuesday a Bahamian judge ordered Stern to submit the girl to a paternity test and yesterday Stern brought her to a DNA testing facility to submit her DNA along with potential father Larry Birkhead.
