The star-studded UNICEF Halloween Ball

Jemima Khan at the UNICEF halloween ball

Celebrities love any opportunity to dress up and what better excuse to don a costume than Halloween, especially when it’s also for a good cause. The stars came out in London for the UNICEF Halloween Ball held at London’s One Mayfair.

Jemima Khan went all out with her clever and quirky cage costume. The journalist and campaigner must have been exhausted walking around in the oversized gorilla and cage outfit. But, fortunately she had a less extreme change of clothing when the heavy getup got too much for her.

Jemima was joined at the star-studded event by director Guy Ritchie and his son Rocco who donned yellow Hazmat suits for their attempt at the Breaking Bad’s Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. Hopefully mum Madonna approved of her 14 year old son dressing up as a crystal meth producer.

Also, dressing the part were supermodel’s Suki Waterhouse and Clara Paget, socialite Camilla Al Fayed, presenter George Lamb, actor Hugh Grant and rapper Tinie Tempah.

The stars came out for the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home Collars and Coats Gala Ball

Britain is a nation of animal lovers and our celebrities are no exception. Donning their finest threads, stars of stage and screen came out for the Collars and Coats Gala Ball, which benefits the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

The event, which is now in its sixth year, has become a highlight of London’s autumn social calendar and with fellow guests being the cutest canines in town it’s easy to see why.

This year’s celebrity attendees included, This Morning’s Amanda Holden, Supermodel David Gandy, Musician Vanessa Mae, Author Dame Jacqueline Wilson, Presenter Laura Whitmore, TV Doctor Christian Jessen and of course, host of, For The Love of Dogs, Paul O’Grady.

Also treading the red carpet was the Battersea Doggie Guard of Honour, which includes many of the Home’s 400 rescued canine residents.

It costs over £18million each year to run Battersea, and with no government funding to support the rescue centre, the Collars & Coats Gala Ball gives the charity a much needed boost both financially and in terms of raising awareness of the good work that they do, giving a second chance in life to thousands of animals.

Horns premieres in LA just in time for halloween

Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple at the Horns LA premiere

It’s that spooky time of year when all those dark horrors come out to terrify us. And Daniel Radcliffe’s latest offering, Horns, is certainly trying to tempt us in for a cinema fright fest.

The Harry Potter actor and his beautiful co-star Juno Temple hit the red carpet for the big LA premiere ahead of its release just in time for Halloween.

Looking very at home on the red carpet Juno wowed in a baby pink satin strapless number that complimented her slender frame. Her usually tight curls had been tamed into a sleek up do and she accessorized with accents of gold.

Dan cut a dashing figure too wearing a dark burgundy suit. But adding a touch of LA cool to the ensemble he finished his look with a grey t-shirt and some funky facial hair.

Also hitting the red carpet were a host of spookily dressed guests including, Katherine McNamara, Laine McNeal and Laura James.

Paris Hilton was looking more sweet than scary as she arrived for her Halloween DJ set at 1OAK nightclub in LA.

Never one to shy away from attention grabbing outfits the beautiful Miss Hilton opted for a skimpy white strapless skater dress with a fluffy marabou trim, matching ears and what appeared to be a cat collar around her neck.

Clearly enjoying the attention her fabulous feline inspired outfit was commanding the blonde bombshell struck a series of her classic poses before she headed in for her set.

Also hitting the club for a night at the haunted mansion themed party with the hottest heiress in town was Rod Stewarts son Sean who was dressed in an orange convict suit and the devilish Dorothy Wang from The Rich Kid’s of Beverly Hills.

Gisele Bündchen ditches her shoes on the Chanel set in Paris

Gisele Bündchen in Paris.

Don’t worry Gisele Bündchen isn’t hailing a
cab without any shoes on for no reason, she’s just shooting the latest campaign
for Chanel.

The supermodel is currently in Paris with
fashion royalty Karl Lagerfeld and perhaps the latest fashion trend is to ditch
your shoes as the beauty was going barefoot on the French capital’s pavements.

Gisele’s feet weren’t the only thing that
was bare though, as the 34 year-old also flashed her bare midriff
which was looking incredibly toned.

As for Lagerfeld he proved that he’s still
hands on at the age of 81 as Chanel’s boss-man was taking control of
the shoot and even snapping a few of the pictures himself.

Of course Gisele has been in the business a
while now and didn’t seem to be phased by the numerous passers-by who stopped to
take in some of the action.

And whilst the highest-paid supermodel
always looks superhumanly good, the stunner showed that she is just like the
rest of us as she gave her feet a break in a pair of comfy Ugg boots in-between

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are one happy family

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys at the Keep A Child Alive Black Ball.

The Keep A Child Alive Black Ball was held in New York City and all eyes were on the charity’s co-founder Alicia Keys. The charity aims to raise awareness and funds for children and families living with HIV and Aids.

At the ball expectant mum Alicia showed just how you work maternity glamour in a super glitzy black dress with sparkly detailing.

The soulful singer posed on the red carpet with her hubby Swizz Beatz who looked like the proud Daddy as he cradled his wife’s blossoming bump. The pair looked every bit the happy little family as Swizz gave his beautiful wife a kiss on the forehead.

Of course Alicia wasn’t the only celeb in attendance as La La Anthony, Padma Lakshmi and Nas all worked the red carpet. Padma clearly didn’t get the memo that it was a Black ball as she rocked up working a little blue number.

Celebrities get spooky for Kate Hudson’s Halloween party

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale celebrate Halloween.

Celebrities are usually so polished and glam but Halloween meant that the stars swapped their designer glad-rags for scary costumes at Kate Hudson’s Halloween party.

Ok so they weren’t quite that scary, unless you find cheesy crisps frightening, as Katy Perry came dressed as a giant Cheeto.

Some put a little more effort in than others as Adam Sandler simply stuck a hat on his head and called himself a pirate. Luckily his wife Jackie put a little more thought into her mermaid inspired attire.

Kurt Russell pushed the boundaries with a cheeky number and Courteney Cox channeled her inner Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls by actually arriving looking like a true fright.

Hats off to Tallulah Willis who arrived dressed as Justin Bieber, but the best outfit has to go to Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale who totally coordinated as Dracula and his bride.

Celebrities shine at the 2014 BAFTA Britannia Awards

Emma Watson at the BAFTA Britannia Awards.

It was a British invasion as some of the UK’s finest exports in showbiz descended into LA for the 2014 BAFTA Britannia Awards. The event celebrates the best talent in the US and UK industry.

The evening looked more like it could have been a Harry Potter reunion as Emma Watson glistened on the red carpet. But sadly her co-star Daniel Radcliffe was on the other side of town for the premiere of his latest movie Horns.

Emma was joined by showbiz royalty and Bond Girl Dame Judi Dench though, who showed that even at the age of 79 she can still steal the limelight.

Dame Judi was the evening’s honoree and was presented with the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for her Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment.

Meanwhile Emma won British Artist of the Year and Robert Downey Jr. walked away with this year’s Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film.

Robert’s latest award is another thing that he can tick off his bucket list alongside being the highest paid actor in Hollywood.

Taylor Swift was shaking it off during her performance on Good Morning America in New York.

The singing sensation was performing a free concert in Times Square to promote the release of her latest album 1989.

The Trouble hit maker showed off her catwalk worthy pins in a pair of military style blue and gold high waist shorts and a coordinating top. Finishing off her stage ensemble with a pair of gold Mary Janes.

Showing off her finest dance moves the blonde bombshell got the crowd going despite the early start. Singing her latest hits for her waiting fans before stopping to take a series of sefies.

Rihanna and Miley cyrus dare to bare on the red carpet

Miley Cyrus at the amfAR Gala

Miley Cyrus and Rihanna dared to bare at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in LA. The pop princesses, who are both known for their risqué fashion sense, opted for flesh flashing ensembles for the glitzy bash.

Hitting the red carpet the woman inadvertently entered into a clash of the cleavages in outfits that left little to the imagination.

Miley showed off her slender figure in a bondage-inspired dress, which featured a long black skirt and sheer top, with black straps to protect her modesty. While Rihanan, who is making quite a habit of red carpet reveals, rocked a white Tom ford dress that featured waist cut outs, sheer bejeweled cups and a thigh split that showed off her stocking clad legs.

Didn’t anyone ever tell Riri its legs or cleavage? Clearly not! One mantra these gorgeous girls do seem to live by though is, less is more!
