The death of Daniel Smith, Anna Nicole Smith's son, was ruled an accidental drug overdose today. Daniel tragically died in September 2006, just three days after the birth of his sister Dannielynn.
Police have said there is no evidence of homicide and according to TMZ Daniel died of "non-dependent drug use" - meaning he was not addicted to what killed him.

Anna Nicole's former boyfriend, Howard K. Stern has launched a $60m lawsuit following claims of a gay affair.
Stern who was the late Playmate's lover and lawyer, has taken legal action against U.S journalist Rita Cosby.
Apparently Cosby made allegations of a gay affair between Stern and Anna Nicole's ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead, in her book 'Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death'.
However both parties have vehemently denied all claims saying they are lies.
The New York Post reports that Stern is seeking $10m in compensatory damages and $50m in damages against Cosby, and publishers Cosby and Hachette Book Group USA.
Stern's lawsuit says he has been falsely accused of criminal lewd acts, homosexual acts, illegal possession and use of cocaine, kidnapping for ransom and conspiring to commit murder.
"'Blonde Ambition' purports to be a 'tell-all' book, but it can only be accurate described as a 'tell-all-lies' book," Stern's lawyer Lin Wood said.
M.L Trope, a lawyer for Birkhead, has indicated that his client will also file a lawsuit.
Oooh I can’t wait to get my copy!

Willa Ford
has been picked to star in an indie production of an Anna Nicole biopic, cleverly titled "Anna Nicole." Instead of breaking any new ground by telling us what made Anna Nicole into Anna Nicole (the important stuff, like home life, being raised by Virgie, family life, sories of abuse, being poor, etc) the film is going to tell us everything we already know.
Movie will cover Smith's life from age 17 until her death in February at 39, including her success as a Playboy centerfold, Guess model and actress, her marriage to billionaire oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II, the death of her son and her own death five months after giving birth to a baby girl, Dannielynn. The dispute that erupted over who was the baby's father was settled Tuesday when a judge in the Bahamas ruled, based on DNA tests, in favor of California photographer and former Smith boyfriend Larry Birkhead.
So get ready for a recap of everything you watched and read over the last several months but from an indie point of view starring an "actress" known for an appearance on Dancing With The Stars, hosting the Ultimate Fighter series, singing a few songs you never heard, and appearing in the "Lingere Bowl."
Actually, she might fit the part.

Although Larry Birkhead has been named the father of Dannielynn from the 99.9% DNA result there are still several questions.
When will Larry officially receive custody of Dannielynn?
That depends; Stern says he will not stand in the way of Larry but sounds as if he will do whatever it takes to keep Virgie Arthur from gaining any sort of partial custody or guardianship, delaying Larry gaining custody of the young girl. Stern very graciously is allowing Larry to spend as much time with Dannielynn as he wants and just asks that transfer of custody is gradual, to prevent any undue harm or confusion for her.
When can Larry return to the states with Dannielynn?
Not until the matter of custody is solved.
What about the name on Dannielynn's birth certificate?
Her full name is Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, can Larry or will Larry petition to have Stern's name removed from the birth certificate? My guess, probably.
What about the J. Howard Marshall fortune?
Anna Nicole was never awarded any money from her marriage to billionaire J. Howard Marshall, all she was granted in the Supreme Court ruling was the right to fight for her share. Now with both Anna Nicole Smith and Marshall's son E. Pierce Marshall dead it's hard to say how the fight for the estate will continue.
Will Larry continue to fight for the fortune?
Who knows, but lets hope he gets a cheaper lawyer this time.
Will this ruling finally allow Anna Nicole to rest in piece?
Not as long as there are still ratings to be had, money to be made, books to be written, TV shows and mini-series to be produced.
Is Stern really going to sue the media outlets that slandered, libeled, accused him of murder?
I'm not going to test it

Anna Nicole Smith was prescribed an ungodly amount of medication and it turns out one doctor, Dr Khristine Eroshevich, prescribed all 11 medications that were found in her hotel room the day she died and shockingly, 600 pills, 415 of which are muscle relaxants, are missing from prescriptions no more than five weeks old. To make matters worse (if they could get any worse), none of the medication was explicitly prescribed to Anna Nicole, eight of the medications were issued to Howard K. Stern, two were for Alex Katz (unclear who that is but it could be a possible alias for Smith or Stern), and another drug was under the name of her friend and psychiatrist Dr Khristine Eroshevich.
Records show that 415 pills of carisoprodol (a muscle relaxant), 62 tablets of Valium, 79 tablets of an anti-seizure medication, two-thirds of a bottle the sleeping medication chloral hydrate, prescribed on January 2, was gone, and at least two dozen pills from her stash of diuretics, antibotics, antivirals, and potassium supplements. Mix in the methadone she was taking for pain and the Human Growth Hormone she was taking for weight loss and there are enough drugs to kill Keith Richards, Pete Doherty, Anthony Kiedis and still have enough over to invite Snoop Dogg to the party.
