The actress, who picked up the Cecil B. Demille award for lifetime achievement, thanked her ex-partner and ‘righteous soul sister in life’, Cydney Bernard.

Saying that she was single, the star admitted that it was not a big coming out speech as she’d done that years ago.

The 50-year-old was at the event with her sons Charles and Kit and her mother, who is suffering from dementia.
