Celebrities Who Wowed in Their Wedding Dresses

We're almost losing count of the stars who have tied the knot this year, so to make sure we don't forget we're looking back at our favourite celebrity wedding dresses.

What’s better than a wedding? A celebrity wedding of course!

With so many stars tying the knot this year, we’ve had a feast of voluminous veils, layers of lace and exquisite embellishments to admire so we’re taking a look at our favourite celebrity weddings.

Anne Hathaway married Adam Shulman in a picturesque sunset wedding in California. Wearing Valentino, the actress looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder gown with an enormous veil and white flower in her hair.

Australian singer and actress Holly Valance also sported an enormous lacy veil at her fairytale wedding. The Kiss Kiss singer married English tycoon Nick Candy in an amazing white feathered gown with dip dyed edges.

Katie Holmes glowed in another off-the-shoulder, huge veiled white dress as she married Tom Cruise. We wonder if he was wearing heels as the actor is definitely taller in the official picture of their big day.

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince tied the knot at a three-day celebration in the Cotswolds, dubbed “Moss-stock”. Going against the big dress celebrity trend, Kate showed off her supermodel proportions in an elegant, slim white dress with gold embellishments.

Pregnant singer Lily Allen was radiant in a Chanel 1920′s style lace creation as she married her builder boyfriend Sam Cooper.

But the best wedding dress has to go to trend-setter the Duchess of Cambridge in that Sarah Burton by Alexander McQueen gown. Not only did she become a princess, but the Duchess brought lace sleeves back into fashion. She brought a tear to eyes around the world as she glowed in her incredible, Grace Kelly inspired wedding dress.

And although we won’t be seeing another royal wedding for a while, with the high profile weddings of Angelina and Brad and Jennifer and Justin looming in the future, the Hollywood A-listers will have to try and meet the royal standard!
