Some of Hollywoods’s hottest rising stars are teaming up with Olympic gold medalists and Major League\ Soccer aces to put the boot into breast cancer.
The all-star teams will take the field in Fullerton, California, on Saturday October 13 as PUMA hosts a celebrity soccer match to benefit Project Pink.
The rosters include Revenge star Josh Bowman, Twilight actor Charlie Bewley and Aimee Teegarden of Friday Night Lights.
Two US Olympic soccer gold medalists will show off their skills as Amy Rodriguez from the London 2012 squad and Julie Foudy – Olympic gold medalist and two-time World Cup winner – take the field.
MLS legend Casey Keller will also be on the team rosters with current MLS star Jay DeMerit. Reigning MLS MVP Dwayne De Rosario will serve as a coach, along with fellow MLS star Matt Reis.
The action kicks off at 2pm at Titan Stadium at Cal State Fullerton. Tickets priced $15 plus handling fees are available from ticketmaster.com and puma.com/projectpink, with all profits going to a nominated charity linked to Project Pink.
Project Pink is an opportunity for women to join the fight against breast cancer.
