A shopping trip with her mother Katie Holmes proved too much for the child as she was snapped sticking her tongue out and pulling faces at the cameras.

With a life-size baby doll wrapped in a pink blanket, Suri looked like she’d been getting lessons from celebrity mums as she clutched her close.

The usually happy six-year-old seemed tired yesterday as she frowned at cameras, hid her face and was eventually carried by Katie.

The pair had been out and about in New York City, visiting Make Meaning in Manhattan and the Two Little Red Hens bakery.

Recently single Katie looked casual in a denim jacket and white trousers as she took Suri home for a well earned nap.
