We had thought that once Cher Lloyd had performed in front of Simon Cowell, there could be no tougher crowd.
We were wrong. The singer left the stage midway through her performance at V Festival in Chelmsford yesterday when a bottle of urine was chucked at her.
The Swagger Jagger singer was reportedly booed by some sections of the crowd and walked off when the bottle was thrown saying, “it’s not nice having bottles of piss chucked at you”.
We couldn’t agree more.
However, Cher did not bottle her performance and after shedding a few tears, she came back on stage despite being advised not to by her management.
But after more bottles were thrown, the X Factor singer finished her set early.
She took to Twitter afterwards, saying, “Thank you so much for all the nice messages, shame that a couple of people had to ruin it”.
This is not the first time Cher has been targeted as she has spoken out about her experience of being bullied on Twitter.
Just leave the poor girl alone!
