Kate Middleton turned out to watch her husband Prince William and his brother Harry in action at a charity polo event in Gloucestershire.
But she had to play second fiddle as the Duke of Cambridge shared a tender moment with his beloved Cocker Spaniel puppy Lupo.
The royals had been busy attending the Trooping the Colour ceremony in honour of the Queen’s official birthday before ending the weekend at the polo match which was staged to raise money for children’s charities Well Child, Child Bereavement and Tusk.
Kate eagerly watched from the sidelines as her husband competed.
But when it was all over and William dismounted, she was forced to look on as he showered the six-month-old with kisses.
