Though we thought they split up ages ago… Marc Anthony has just officially filed for divorce from Jennifer Lopez. These are the documents that Marc submitted in Los Angeles that cite “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the divorce. The couple of over seven years announced their separation in July last year, and in the months since then, both appear to have moved on completely. Jennifer Lopez’s new love is 25 year-old dancer Casper Smart. He’s her right hand man, a pal for her kids, and even the star of her latest sexy music video! These two wasted no time getting cozy. Meanwhile, Marc seems pretty serious about his new girlfriend, Venezuelan model Shannon de Lima. The two have attended events and awards shows together, happily posing arm in arm for the cameras. But Marc and Jennifer appear to be working out the details of their divorce quite amicably. They continue to work together on their Latin talent show Q’Viva and Marc asked for joint custody of their twins Max and Emme.

Marc Anthony has filed for divorce from Jennifer Lopez nine months after they announced their split. Marc, who filed under his real name Marco Muniz, cites ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for divorce. He filed the papers in LA Superior Court on April 9 and asks for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s four-year-old twins, Max and Emme. He does not file a specific date of separation.
