Are the 90s making a comeback? By the looks of it, we’d say it’s possible! Chloe Moretz donned a retro black velvet choker for the Metropolitan Gala premiere of Jules Massenet’s ‘Manon’ at the Met in New York City. Chloe’s tiered Yves Saint Laurent gown looked elegant and ethereal, aging the young teenage actress with its sophisticated look. Even the throwback choker works! Chloe wasn’t the only one at the Met donning a close-fitting necklace… Emmy Rossum wore a decorated velvet choker and a purple strapless gown by Yves Saint Laurent for the event. When talking to one reporter, she laughed and said she had to take the choker down a couple of notches to keep from – literally – choking herself. Hey, beauty is pain right?
