Wedding Bells will have to wait.
The marriage of Britney Spears and her fiancé Jason Trawick has been postponed due to legal woes.
The singer has been caught up in litigation with her former manager, Sam Lufti for a while now, but because she is under a conservatorship, Spears has so far been spared the call to testify in court regarding the case against her.
However, if Spears gets married, the court would be free to consider her fit to testify.
To protect her from this, her lawyers have urged her to postpone her nuptials until after the lawsuit has been resolved.
Since the trial is scheduled to begin in September, it looks like Brit will have to kill the lights and plan for a fall wedding or later.
We’re pretty sure that Jason won’t hold it against you though. From the looks of it, he’d wait till the world ends to marry you!
