According to reports, the superstar couple have filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to reserve their daughter’s name for future use.

The music superstars reportedly intend to use Blue Ivy as a potential brand name for a line of baby products.

The application to trademark Blue Ivy Carter’s name is currently pending, but it will likely be approved, parents are legally allowed to trademark their children’s name.
