Angelina Jolie may appear to be cool, calm, and collected for the cameras, but behind the scenes – as a director – the actress admitted that she had a complete emotional breakdown while working on her film In the Land of Blood and Honey. During a live video web chat, Angie told fans about the emotional process she went through taking on the responsibility of writing and directing her first film. At one point, she said she had a “complete meltdown” and collapsed in her shower in tears! Luckily, she had partner Brad there to comfort her, and he has been standing by her side, supportive, throughout the film’s debut. Angie confessed that she’s unsure about whether she’ll return to directing. For this film, she just really wanted to tell the story. Well with a Golden Globe Nomination for her directorial debut, it seems she did a pretty good job telling this story.
