SAG Awards 2011: White Hot Trend

Natalie Portman

Celebrities looked stunning in the white hot gown trends of the night.

Natalie Portman once again opted for a strapless gown showing off her belly bump in Azzaro.

Eva Longoria chose a Grecian-inspired Georges Hobeika showing off her toned physique.

Lea Michele shimmered in a body skimming Oscar de la Renta, a refreshing change from her usual bigger skirted style.

Amy Adams kept it sleek in Herve’ Leroux.

We were frightened by Winona Ryder’s obnoxious layered and tulle confection. She definitely has room for improvement.

SAG Awards 2011: Best Dressed List

Stars came out in full for
to celebrate each other at the Screen Actor Guild Awards. Overall the fashion
was unimpressive, but we managed to find some surprisingly stylish newcomers
who impressed us on the red carpet. 

Here’s our best dressed list.

Newcomer Sarah Hyland from
the hit ABC show Modern Family looks elegant and a bit sexy in a gorgeous
orange strapless dress from Max Mara Elegante Collection and jewels by Me
a& Ro collection.

Tousled carefree curls were
a trend of the evening with Sarah’s look and the lovely Julia Stiles.

Ms. Stiles’ navy and white
ombre gown was eye-catching in the right ways: a simple cut, bold color, and
her vintage earrings were fantastic!

Mila Kunis won our
best-dressed award as she stepped out in a scarlet, rose, and black dress with
a flowing train from Alexander McQueen’s 2011 resort collection. Her belt
accented her petite figure and she added the perfect conversation piece with
her single Cartier bracelet.

January Jones covered up a
bit in this ornate gown from Carolina Herrera. The statuesque cut and delicate
detailing made this dress a stunner.

A surprise favorite was funny girl Tina Fey. She stepped out in a classic red column gown by Oscar de la Renta. We don’t mind the applique’ flowers at the top, because the dress fits her like a glove and her earrings are fabulous!

Meet The New ‘Man of Steel’

Henry Cavill

Right now he’s best known for his role in
Showtime’s The Tudors…but soon
Henry Cavill will be flying on set as the Man of Steel.

The 27-year-old actor has officially signed
on to play Superman and his alter-ego Clark Kent in the series reboot.

Cavill reportedly beat out several Hollywood
hunks for the coveted role including True Blood’s Joe Manganiello and fellow Brit Matthew Goode.

And this isn’t the first time he’s tried to
don the red cape.

Cavill also auditioned for 2006’s Superman
Returns.

The new Superman movie is set to start
filming this summer.

Porn star Kacey Jordan may have been partying all night with Charlie Sheen on his “suicide binge” in Los Angeles, but as the actor has sought help in rehab, she has traveled across the country to do tell-all interviews about the party’s events.

Jordan is spotted here in midtown, New York City, before her interview on ABC’s Good Morning America, where she claims Sheen’s party had tennis ball-sized rocks of cocaine, and she received $30,000 for showing up.

New Royal comic cover unveiled

The royal romance between Prince
William and Kate Middleton has been turned into a comic. Bluewater
Productions is publishing “Fame: The Royals” later this year. The firm
has just released this new cover for the graphic novel, written and
drawn by Pablo Martinena.

It’s too early to tell if it has a happy ending or not, but rumor is that they get married. Perhaps Wills becomes a super hero in the sequel.

Nicole Talks About New Baby

Although it was one of the
toughest things she said she’s ever had to do, Nicole Kidman admits she kept
the arrival of her new baby girl, Faith Margaret, a secret in order to
‘protect’ her.

The Hollywood star opened up
to E! at this year’s SAG awards saying she “wanted to be able to tell
everybody” because she was so excited about her new daughter, but decided this
was between her and hubby Keith Urban.

Plus, the 43-year-old actress
felt it protected everyone in the situation.    

Faith Margaret joined big
sister Sunday Rose and was born via surrogate.
