Could David Beckham be the next action movie star?

Well, according to Tom Cruise, it’s far from a Mission Impossible.

The A-Lister tells The Mirror that he’d love to do action movies with the soccer sensation, saying he thinks he would kick ass.

Well, Beckham’s no stranger to kicking things… But breaking into the acting business? Good thing he has Tom Cruise as a friend.

His star power wouldn’t come without a price though… Cruise says he would only trade screen time for some professional soccer lessons.

We’re not sure if Beckham will be a good sport about it, but according to reports, if Beckham’s going to climb into an acting gig, he’s only going to share the screen with this Top Gun.
