Although we’re still waiting for an official statement from Kim Kardashian herself, Kim’s close friend and media mogul Ryan Seacrest confirmed via Twitter that the reality star is filing for divorce today from husband of just 72 days, Kris Humphries.

Rumors have been flying for weeks that the marriage was off to a rocky start and would soon end. Reports of bickering plagued the couple since before their wedding.  

Their lavish wedding on August 20 drew a great deal of media attention, including a 4-hour wedding special on E! which was executive produced by Ryan Seacrest.
