Steve Jobs tribute outside Apple store at Fifth Avenue and 59th Street in NYC

A makeshift tribute to the late Steve Jobs is attracting visitors from around the globe at Apple’s flagship Fifth Avenue store in New York City. Fans of Apple products paid tribute to the company’s co-founder Jobs, who died aged 56 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, by lighting candles, leaving apples that had been bitten and signed and a sign that read, ‘Keep thinking different,’ a reference to Apple’s famous marketing slogan. TV crews from different countries were on hand to interview people about what Jobs and Apple meant to them. One fan left an iPhone with Jobs’ photo as the screensaver at the memorial.
