It seems that Lady Gaga’s
outlandish attire cost her so much during The
Monster Ball Tour…she nearly went broke!

In an interview for the Financial Times, the singer claims she
spent such a monstrous amount of money on costumes for the show that she
actually went bankrupt after the first extension.  Saying at one point, she was $3 million in debt and didn’t
even know it.

Having five No. 1 singles
didn’t make much of a difference either.

But don’t go feeling sorry
for her…because all’s well that ends well…and the Monster Ball didn’t end too badly…

Raking in more than $200
million.

We’re pretty sure that got
her out of the red.
