Cole is reportedly taking her glamorous look down a notch in the hopes that a
more “natural” appearance will help her score a position on the U.S. version of
The X Factor.
A
source tells Now magazine
that Cole’s make-under will include the removal of her hair extensions, and a
wardrobe overhaul spearheaded by the same folks that helped Victoria Beckham
de-WAG herself back in the day.
We
hear along with cutting her signature locks into a bob, Cole will be sporting
more “ladylike” outfits.
The former Girls Aloud singer was believed to be the favorite for the reality TV show’s judging panel, but
has since been rumored to be losing steam as show producers are worried she’s
not famous enough stateside.
We’re
not sure what a more subdued look will do for the star considering her biggest
competition is the anything-but-natural Nicole Scherzinger.
But
we guess it never hurts to try.
