Scheduling a date night when you’re a celebrity isn’t easy.

Just ask Katy Perry and Russell Brand.

The pop star admits that she and her actor husband sometimes have to pencil in romance up to eight months in advance.

Perry, who is set to embark on a world tour Feb. 20 in Portugal, says she and Brand already have it worked out as to when they’ll see each other while she’ setting things up so far ahead it actually makes things easier.

Because at the end of the day, the 26–year-old insists she wants more out of life than just a career.

“Some people, I think, would die on stage and I don’t want to die on
stage. I want to be in love, have a future and hopefully be inspired to
write songs from that. It has to be a balance.”
