‘Dancing With The Stars’ To Get Scary?

Hit reality show Dancing with the Stars is about to get a whole lot Scarier.

Former contestant Mel B
is in the running to take over as a co-host of the show.
Current co-host Samantha Harris has announced she is leaving the show,
and producers are now racing to find a co-host before the celeb dance
contest kicks off its new season on March 22 on ABC.

A shortlist of replacements have been drawn up including two former contestants Melissa Rycroft and Brooke Burke.

But according to reports, it’s now Mel B who is the frontrunner to co-host the show.

The singer, Scary Spice in the girl band the Spice Girls, is also no stranger to the show, after she came in second place in season five.

And it has been revealed the mom of two was invited to the ABC studios this week for a screen test.

An announcement on Harris’ replacement is expected shortly.

Brooke Shields Does Not Want Her Kids To Act

Brooke Shields, a former child star, does not want either of her small daughters to act.

Life & Style Weekly reports Shields, 44, is determined that
her children do not follow her into acting because of the expectations
put on young actors.

Shields, a star of Lipstick Jungle, shared some of her memories of the lonely childhood she and Michael Jackson both shared in a poignant eulogy she delivered at his memorial service in Los Angeles last year.

Neither Rowan, six, nor Grier, three, will act, if Shields can help it.

“For their sake, I hope they don’t. There’s a lot of
pressure. As long as they get an education, they can do whatever they
want. If they need my help, I’ll try, but I hope they find other
interests.”

Lady Gaga Laughs Off Hermaphrodite Rumors

Lady Gaga
has said rumors that she is a hermaphrodite were the “most humorous” of
her career.
The 23-year-old stripped off for the recent shoot and wanted to wear a
strap-on penis under her trousers to make fun of the rumors.

“I want to wear a d*ck strapped to my vagina. We all know
one of the biggest talking points of the year was that I have a d*ck,
so why not give them what they want? I want to comment on that in a
beautiful, artistic way. How I wanna show it. And I want to call this
piece Lady Gaga Dies Hard.

Gaga added that the rumor has been the ‘most humorous’ of her career and wanted to make a statement about it.

Natalie Portman To Play A Runaway Bride

V for Vendetta star Natalie Portman will suffer a nervous breakdown for her next movie role.

But while that sounds like a serious drama, the actress has actually signed on to star in a new comedy about a runaway bride.

Portman is reportedly in talks to act in Best Buds, about a
woman who embarks on a California road trip on the eve of her wedding -
and relies on the powers of marijuana and her pals to soothe her woes.

According to reports, Portman will produce the film with Vendome Pictures’ CEO Philippe Rousselet.

The pair are still looking for a filmmaker to direct, and a shooting schedule has not yet been released.

Sean Penn Saves Lives In Haiti

Hollywood actor Sean Penn is being hailed as a hero after personally saving two lives in Haiti, according to US reports.

The Milk star reportedly rescued a woman and an orphaned child who were both badly injured in the rubble of a collapsed building.

Penn – who runs the Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization – was already in the country helping with relief work.

According to reports, the star drove for 90 minutes with his daughter Dylan to rescue the woman and child, who were trapped in rubble outside Port-au-Prince, possibly from an aftershock.

An eyewitness said Penn helped to extricate the woman, who suffered leg injuries, and the child, who suffered head injuries.

Penn drove them in his truck to the University of Miami hospital camp in Port-au-Prince.
