Jessica Simpson’s new flame, former NFL player Eric Johnson, has chosen to stay in Los Angeles with the pop star rather than return to the college according to reports.

Johnson is enrolled in a two year business course at the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious Wharton school, but reportedly has opted to spend more time with his new squeeze rather than hit the books.
The pair, who have been dating for only eight weeks, recently holidayed in Italy together to celebrate the singer’s 30th birthday.

The loved-up duo were spotting strolling hand-in-hand and passionately embracing while on the island of Capri.

“He doesn’t want to move to Philadelphia and leave her so soon after they got together,” a source said, Us Magazine reports.
