Sex And The City World Premiere: Who Dressed And Impressed?

It was hailed as the premiere of the year - the one to wait for - and the one to watch. But when London was chosen over NYC to premiere the much anticipated series turned movie, did Sex And The City live up to all it's hype?
Not surprisingly the focus was on fashion, and like most of the shows dedicated fans, Splash packed themselves into the crowded stands early. Everyone braved the afternoon heat to eagerly await the red carpet revelations, and when Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out first, she was predictably greeted by a mass of frenzy.
SJP's unusual outfit, perfectly crafted from her alter ego Carrie Bradshaw, had everyone in awe. A huge flower and butterfly hat, designed by Philip Treacy, swayed high above the fans as Sarah's matching dress floated beautiful above her popular McQueen shoes.
Kim Catrall, in Vivienne Westwood, and Kristen Davis in Vintage, almost had a fashion faux pas, as they both arrived in variations of red. But some carefully placed poses meant they never clashed next to each other.
The real shock of the night came from Cythnia Nixon, whose conservative on screen character, Miranda, was definitely left on set. She left little to the imagination, as two well placed straps thankfully kept her cleavage tucked in. It was a Calvin Klein risk that I think had her beaming above the rest.

Cynthia wins, SJP next. The other two are ok.
FANTASTIC !
CLOTHES AND HAT.
