Marion Jones: Lockdown Edition

Former Olympic star Marion Jones is now behind bars and starting her six-month sentence after lying to federal investigators about her steroid use. A spokeswoman for the US Bureau of Prisons stated that Jones has checked into prison, saying "I can confirm that she arrived at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth just before noon."
Jones was sentenced in January after she confessed that she had lied about her sterois use and a check-fraud scheme.
I remember seeing Marion Jones in the Olympics when I was younger and wondering "How does she do it?" Erm, well, now we know, and I bet she'll be missing the track in the prison yard.

I can't believe she got put in prison for this shit. What a waste of taxpayers money...she should have been put into community service...or maybe put to good use elsewhere...it's disgusting that she has now got a criminal record for this. How many other athletes use steroids...loads have, loads do. Shame on this law.
She's not going to jail for steroid use, she's going to jail for perjury and that's a good law.
You get caught perjuring yourself, you go to jail.
