I am sympathetic towards Brittany's parents, it must be extremely hard for them to see their adult child being ripped apart by the media, papparazi. Brittany's parents should bring a lawsuit against the record label that forced and pushed Brittany to grow up too fast witout any kind of positive support to keep her foccused. I hope Brittany moves away from Hollywood and fast paced, destructive lifestyle and live the rest of her years being happy.

THIS IS SOOOOOOO SICK! You parent because you love and care for your children not because you can make money off of them! No wonder Britney doesn't trust them. She has been carrying them financially for years and now her own father profits form her mental illness and problems. It is disgusting!

I hope when this Conservatorship is over she hires the best lawyers out there and sues all of them for infringing on her rights and freedoms!

The judge continued the Conservatorship because he didn't want her to file anything to stop it??? That sounds like a dictatorship instead of American democracy. We still live in a country of freedoms don't we? Since when can we take control of someone's income when they are no longer considered to be a threat to themselves or others. WOW - this is scary stuff.

I feel so sorry for Britney. So sad that you can't even trust your own family to help without ulterior motives.

You think $2,500 a week is a lot? cripes no, he has bills to pay...he is looking out for his daughter. I think it probably took some sacrifice to make that decision. She seems to have settled of late and he may be the reason. I think it's great what he is doing. It's not his fault she is a drug addict or whatever else she is...she is solely responsible...society has to stop blaming everyone for everyone's mistakes. Brittany made ALL her own choices. It looks like those choices had dire consequences.

Are you kidding? How much would YOU need to keep a grown woman's clothes on her, pills out of her mouth, ass off the street, kids in her life? Not to mention having to put up with an enabler ex-wife and a whore for another daughter? This man should make $2500 an hour AND be nominated for sainthood. He's put his life on hold to babysit a mentally deficient adult.

He had to friggin put his life on hold to help Britney for God's sake! Living in California isn't cheap, she wasted more money than that on stupid things like a new car every other week, let's not forget all of the money paps and tabloids and picture news sites make off her...but hey, her dad is not entitled to have a court decided compensation? ALL conservators are given a compensation of some kind. Better to him than Lutfi or Adnan or any one else. How does anyone even know whether or not he'll even use it? Give this man a break and the credit he deserves.

Parents all over the world do the same for their drug addicted or mentally ill or physically ill children but they DO NOT profit from it! Wake up people!
