Heath Ledger's will reveals that he left everything to his parents and sisters, and not to his baby daughter and his ex-love Michelle Williams. Ledger, who died in January from "acute intoxication" from the "abuse of prescription medications," prepared his will in April 2003, and it was never updated, even after he lived with Michelle and had a baby daughter.
There is a catch, though (isn't there always?): Ledger's will never directly references the millions he made in his biggest assets. Court papers in New York revealed that he has just $145,000 in assets from his bank accounts, Toyota Prius, and furniture, while the future of his Australian properties, Brooklyn home, and trust funds remain uncertain.
We'll have to see how that pans out. As if that weren't complicated enough, someone in England has also been posing at Heath Ledger's dad, Kim, to contact his friends and arrange free flights and hotel stays.
"While the case...has generated extraordinary public interest, it has also, unfortunately, brought out the worst in human nature," Ledger's lawyer Harvey Corn wrote. Corn also sealed files in Australia to protect the family's privacy.

Gwen Stefani was spotted having a quiet day with the fam in Los Angeles, but she was definitely dressed down in a somber-looking black dress and incognito shades. Too bad that she looks about as un-family friendly as you can get. . . I'm sure she warmed up after the whole thing got underway!

Lisa Marie Presley said that she only confirmed her pregnancy to stop the nasty rumors that were being spread about her. The singer and only daughter of Elvis Presley stated that she was pressured into admitting her pregnancy when she kept reading articles questioning her expanding waistline-- complete with what she called "insane theories."
"After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant," she wrote on her MySpace page.
I thought being in the public eye was about having a thick skin. I'm sure that Lisa Marie has read worse things about herself than that she has a large stomach, right? Still, her rep did confirm that "The couple are incredibly overjoyed."

At first I was like... of course, Tori has some pretty questionable fashion taste; isn't it a given? But that's NOT what they were referring to after all.
Tori confessed that she racked up a hefty credit card bill by buying whatever she wanted-- and blamed it on her affluent childhood. In her memoir
sTORI Telling, she confesses that her spending habits got out of hand.
"I was in severe debt on my credit cards - hundreds of thousands of dollars," she told US TV show 20/20. "Bad shopping habits die hard," she writes in her book, adding that she never needed to worry about money. "I know that might sounds shallow to people, but that was my reality," she said.
"I would sit and watch my Mom order stuff online, or in a catalogue see a sweater and order it in 10 different colours. I thought 'I have my own money - that's what I should do'."

I have a
total girlcrush on Vanessa Hudgens, especially after seeing these shots of her at the opening of The South by Southwest Festival in Texas. Okay, this stunning starlet's poses were a *little* awkward on the red carpet, but that doesn't bother me.
In a celebrity fame faceoff, I'd probably vote for her against someone as big as Miley, just because I think she's that cool. To be honest, I'm not even sure why-- are there any Vanessa fans out there who can confirm how I feel?!

Former Olympic star Marion Jones is now behind bars and starting her six-month sentence after lying to federal investigators about her steroid use. A spokeswoman for the US Bureau of Prisons stated that Jones has checked into prison, saying "I can confirm that she arrived at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth just before noon."
Jones was sentenced in January after she confessed that she had lied about her sterois use and a check-fraud scheme.
I remember seeing Marion Jones in the Olympics when I was younger and wondering "How does she do it?" Erm, well, now we know, and I bet she'll be missing the track in the prison yard.
