Michael Stipe, the lead singer of R.E.M., has come out of the closet after years of being vague about his sexual orientation.
"I recognize that to have public figures be very open about their sexuality helps some kid somewhere out there," he tells Spin Magazine.
Wow. Like, I am totally blown away. I thought he was the picture of heterosexuality. Who's next? Bruce Willis?

Inconsistent. Inaccurate. Unrealistic. Volative. These are just some of words used by Mr Justice Bennett to describe Heather Mills in what has been one of the most publicised divorce battles to date. Today, the former couple's court judgement has been made public and now we can all read for ourselves exactly how the judge viewed this extraordinary case.
"Much of her evidence, both written and oral, was not just inconsistent and inaccurate but also less than candid. Overall she was a less than impressive witness."
Heather, had tried to prevent it's publication, and as its heavy criticism of her comes to light, it's obvious to many as to why she was concerned. Paul McCartney may be £24.3 million lighter, but I'm sure he is happy that his ex wife's "warped perception" is out for everyone to see.

Dodgy driver Britney Spears will be losing some of her flash cars, after a judge gave her dad permission to sell them off. The Toxic singer's conservators, which includes dad Jamie, were given the green light to flog the motors at a court hearing yesterday. But, the exact names and models of the cars were not revealed at the hearing.
It's widely known that Brit favors her white Mercedes SL 65 series, and many of her motoring mishaps have seen this car in particular in the wars. The pop singer has found herself in hot water several times, and last year she was pulled over for driving without a valid California license and was also charged with a misdemenour count of hit and run. Britney has also been caught on camera running red lights and making dangerous maneuver's.
Furthermore, the judge has also extended the restraining order against Britney's former pal Sam Lutfi for another month. Lutfi agreed not to fight the order and allow the extension. It basically means he can have no contact with Miss Spears. Great news.
