Matthew McConaughey's new RomCom 'Fools Gold' made $21 million this weekend, putting it at the top of this weekend's box office results. $21 freaking million! I know the writers strike has severely impaired your television watching but have you ever heard of reading? Or using common sense? I don't need to see this movie to know it stinks but if you need an expert opinion it's listed on RottenTomatoes.com with an astonishing 10% positive feedback courtesy of scathing reviews like this:

Never did I think McConaughey and Kate Hudson would make a movie so awful it would make me look back fondly on their team-up in the wretched "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days."

I know seeing a shirtless McConaughey run around on screen with Kate Hudson playing the same bubbly character she always plays was too much to handle for some of you but if you saw this movie you can never complain about movie critics or their reviews treating you like a philistine because when you go and see crap like this, you're proving them right. Who am I kidding, if you saw this movie you've probably never read a review that didn't involve [insert geographically pertinent fast-food chain] and think philistine is a country over by "The Iraq."
