Natalie Portman To Direct First Film

Natalie Portman in Berlin

Natalie Portman's set to direct her first film-- in Hebrew. The Israeli-born actress is keeping it real with her directorial debut in the film version of Amos Oz's A Tale of Love and Darkness, which is a memoir of growing up in '40s and '50s Jerusalem. Portman revealed to W magazine that "I've been reading Oz since high school, and when I read his biography I just sort of saw it." At least we've moved beyond the whole Natalie-and-Scarlett thing (Chris!). Stock picture by KCSPresse
