Amy Winehouse was the big winner at the 50th Grammy Awards last night. As she scooped up a total of 5 trophies, she dedicated her gongs to her locked-up husband Blake Fielder Civil and Camden Town.
The star lost out on the prized Album of The Year, which was given to Herbie Hancock for his album 'River: The Joni Letters.' But elsewhere the 24-year-old artist swept the board in her categories picking up Record of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Song of the Year and two awards during the pre-broadcast presentation, in the categories of best pop vocal album for "Back to Black" and best female pop vocal.
Winehouse was unable to attend the event but appeared via a live satellite link from London with electrifying performances of her hits 'Rehab' and 'I'm no Good.' Beehive Amy gave her first acceptance speech of the evening as she collected the award for Record of The Year for 'Rehab.' She said:
"This is to my mum and dad - for my Blake incarcerated. And to London, this is for London because you can't burn down Camden Town"
Winehouse was unable to pickup her awards in person after failing to secure a work visa to travel to the United States until late Friday. By that stage, it was too late to change her plans. Instead she performed in front of a small crowd at a London recording studio.

Paul McCartney can be seen here arriving at court early this morning, ready to face his ex lover Heather Mills from across the court room. As The Beatles star arrived with his fierce legal team he refrained from facing the awaiting media and hid behind one of London free newspapers.
The judge has been booked for a week, in what is expected to be one of the most expensive court settlements in Britain's history. Currently, the largest divorce settlement stands at £45 million.
Heather McCartney has taken the unusual step to act for herself in the high court this week. Many have speculated this could be due to her already existing debts to her former lawyers - a rumored sum of £1.5 million. It's believed Heather will be asking for money to cover her travel costs, standing of living, cut of earnings (for helping the Beatle with his career after the death of his wife Linda McCartney).
As 50 photographers waited for the duo, a reporter revealed, "McCartney was driven to a side entrance when he arrived. All the photographers charged up to the railings of the gate and climbed up on ladders to take whatever pictures they could." Paul McCartney then warmly offered a 'good morning' to the press.
Paul is worth £180 million pounds, and Heather has been asked to leave her emotions at the door. She must present her claims via the law, if she has any chance of claiming some of Paul's wealth.

Pete, his double-belt action, and Ashlee Simpson were spotted going out to Club Ritual this weekend. Ashlee and Pete have really started to look similar here-- total relationship clones! It's a good thing that they're pretty cute together.
Ashlee headed into the club wearing bright red jeans and little booties, plus hair that looks so much like
Lindsay Lohan's hair color. They're looking pretty casual for a weekend night out. I like this side of Pete.
