We spotted Jessica Simpson is scheduled to perform for the troops in Kuwait on March 10th as a part of an Operation MySpace with "comedian" Carlos Mencia.
“It’s truly an honor to perform for the troops,†Jessica said in a statement. “Through Operation MySpace, I get to serve my country by doing what I love to do in front of thousands of brave men in uniform. It’s every girl’s dream!"
Wow, it really sucks to be a soldier in the U.S. Army. First you have to go half way around the world to fight some bullsh*t war only to be forced to sit through a concert by Jessica Simpson, who should just give up on the whole singing and acting crap and just get naked already, and a performance by Carlos Mencia.
I think I'd rather go A.W.O.L. in the Iraqi desert, have my head lopped off with a knife previously used to birth a baby camel and have my body, minus head, be tried and sentenced for treason than sit through that load of crap.

Mariah Carey stopped by MTV's Total Request Live to promote her new video 'Touch My Body,' which is something no straight man in the world wants to do. Maybe if this was 1995 and you just had your sexual awakening during her "Fantasy" video but not after her "controlling" marriage with Tommy Mottola, relationship with Derek Jeter and her breakdown on national TV. Besides, I don't think most of her body is actually 'her's' anymore.
Side note on Mariah's shoes: Kids, please don't look to her as someone whose style you would like to emulate unless you plan on making a career of sliding up and down a pole surrounded by drunk frat guys and shady men in sweat pants.

Two American doctors are under investigation in connection with the accidental death of Heath Ledger. The doctors, one from California and the other from Texas, are being looked at by federal drug authorities, according to reports.
Ledger's body was found in his Manhattan apartment in January, and an autopsy blamed the fatal mixture of prescription drugs. The doctors being probed are believed to have supplied Ledger, 28, with the drugs Oxycontin and Vicodin, People.com reports. An insider told People,
"We are investigating doctors in Los Angeles and Texas with regard to Ledger's prescriptions. It is unclear yet whether there was any wrongdoing by whether doctor. We don't know yet. The agents were there this week, and we are waiting to hear from them."
The Drug Enforcement Administration has already subpoenaed the results of an autopsy carried out on Ledger in New York. The autopsy concluded that the drugs Valium, Temazepam, Alpazolam and Doxylamine were also present in the actor's body.

The usually pap hungry starlet Lindsay Lohan, didn't appear to snap happy as she was spied going into her "AA" meeting on Sunset Blvd. On a very sunny day, the rehab actress looked relaxed in denim short and trainers, but she had no smiles for the cameras.
Lindsay's sighting comes as reports have surfaced that Hugh Hefner wants Miss Lohan to appear in Playboy, recreating Marilyn Monroe's famous naked swim from her 'Something's Got to Give' movie. Her curves have proved quite popular since she recently stripped off in a New York magazine shoot. The racy shots proved so popular that the magazine's website crashed under the massive volume of hits.

LAX has been so super busy on the celebrity front, that our photographer Dean, practically camped out there for the day. After Renee's brash arrival, it was lovely to see some smiles on the other end of the lens from Forrest Whitaker and Anne Hathaway. Photographers reported that Forest in particular was quite gracious to fans and Anne, star of The Devil Wears Prada, joked with the paps as she lent in to the camera and said, "for viewers at home I assure you this does not feel normal."

Renee Zellweger appeared to be running late for her flight as she arrived at Los Angeles LAX airport looking very hot and bothered. As she made her way up the escalators at the entrance she immediately showed she was unimpressed to see the waiting photographers.
She used her ticket to shoo the camera from her, before being escorted by a member of airport staff through to security. It then took the star quite a while to make her way through LAX's security checkpoint, as she emptied her hand luggage, and put her belongings and trainers into the white boxes. Once complete she raced off into the distance.
